First Lost, and now possibly Battlestar Galactica?
Galatica Sitrep posted a rumor from a radio show that said a member of the BSG production staff has revealed that the two-part series finale could be extended by a THIRD HOUR!
The episode begins shooting next week and it appears it is up to The Sci Fi Channel to make the final decision.
That would essentially give us 11 more episodes of BSG after this coming Friday’s mid-season finale. That would be frakking awesome if it comes true, because the end is starting to feel really close.
One more hour? I can take that.
Also, on the SPOILER front, Zap2It did an interview with Jamie Barber, who plays Lee Adama on the show, and he had a few interesting things to say. One of them about Dualla!
They asked Baber if the Lee-Dualla storyline is over, and he had this comment:
I have to say that, you know, they kind of split at the end of season three and Lee now lives on Colonial One and she lives on Galactica, but there’s a big Dualla story coming up that will answer all your questions before the end.
He also added that we’ll see more of Lee and Starbuck paired up down the road, mentioned the same rumor about a “triple episode” for the finale and that the episode on Friday called Revelations is “fantastic” and that Lee being President is part of that.
All I know is that this week in entertainment is nothing but waiting for Friday to come, and when it’s over, it’s going to SUCK waiting until 2009.
Another hour of BSG? Bring it on. The waiting will be the hard part.

I don't? Weird. I watch BSG religiously. Then make Ana listen to me as I tell her everything that happened even though she doesn't watch it.
I probably don't comment as much because I'm not online as much on the weekends.

It should be a six-hour miniseries event. An hour each the Monday-Thursday of the final week and then two hours on Friday.
Then it would be over too quickly

I think we'll all be sad when it's over, but honestly, it's going to be much more fun down the road to be able to watch four seasons and see the whole story in a quick manner instead of a 8 season marathon.
Well, I meant that second half of “season four” that we're not going to see for a year. Stretch that out to 22 episodes plus the six-hour miniseries.
They can call it season 4.5 all they want, but if I don't see it until 2009, it's gonna be season five to me.

I too was really hacked at the BSG Finale till I came across this detailed CAPRICA the SERIES DETAILED REVIEW. It really does explain why the final five couldn’t reveal more, it would have shot down the pilot! The BSG Finale makes a lot more sense now.
