It’s the Fourth of July and I hope everyone has the day off, or at least has great plans tonight for fireworks and fun.
Since it’s a holiday, there wont me much going on here at Pop Critics today. I plan on a nice EARLY morning of golf, followed by a noon-time nap methinks.
So for most of us, it’s a three-day weekend. People go out of town, have parties, drink beer, watch fireworks or just relax by the pool.
The Friday Question is:
What are you big plans for this Fourth of July holiday weekend?
Like I said above, it’s golf and a nap today, with some BBQ and swimming/fireworks over at some close friends. Saturday and Sunday may be spent running some errands or possibly starting on the baby’s room. A trip to Home Depot yesterday gave me a few projects to take care of as well.
But don’t you worry. I have three Burn Notice discs just waiting to be watched, and you can almost guarantee they’ll be completed by Sunday evening. We’ll probably try to catch another movie this weekend as well.
So what about you guys? Big plans? What are your Fourth of July traditions?

I see everyone is busy today, which is awesome
Have a fun day guys.
We shoulda hooked for this… I been runnin errands most all day, thats not fun, but will settle down to finish watching Wibledon semi's and just got back from Atomic Comics where box holders got an add'l 20% off every graphic novel and most all merchandise. I'm probably watching drill bit tailor later, grillin some dogs (no its not suddenly North Korea), and then watchin fireworks on my patio…. have a great one yourself bud!
Having a grape slushee or icee or freeze whatever you call them and trying not to get brain freeze.
Looks like some potential big t-storms moving into the Phoenix area later…could get interesting for fireworks tonight!
I had a nice bbq with family and relatives. It was such a nice day, a great day for me to have fun and eat a lot!
Awesome stuff David!
We didn't do much, just too hot. Swan in the morning, followed by naps. We grilled steak and corn and then watched Untraceable and the end of the Dbacks game…they lost. Heard fireworks around 9:45 as we were heading to bed. Very exciting!
We BBQed with the inlaws and my 13 month old daughter fell asleep watching the fireworks that were going off 40 feet away. I guess she's like her dear old dad. She can sleep anywhere!
I hope everyone had a great Independence Day! God Bless the USA!
