Jason just told us about Courtney Cox joining the cast of Scrubs, and now it looks like Michael J. Fox is also in talks to reprise his role on the hit NBC comedy series.
Amazingly, Fox is also reportedly signing on for a multiple-episode arc on FX’s Rescue Me.
Not sure how the Scrubs episodes will work, but it’s kind of cool that Fox might be reunited with Cox, who played his girlfriend Lauren on Family Ties many, many years ago. Totally loved that show.
Very curious about what Fox’s role will be on Rescue Me though…that’s not exactly a show that would scream for an actor like him.
Scrubs returns this fall, while Rescue Me wont be back until sometime in 2009.

The guys on Rescue Me will probably make fun of him constantly for his disability and the mannerisms it causes. I don't know how they play it in a way that is politically correct… just not their style.

I think adding both Michael J. Fox and Courtney Cox on to the show could really give it a well needed shot in the arm.
Two Cox and a Fox. I'm pretty sure any show would need a shot in the arm after that!
