ABC announces Fall 2008 premiere dates

Here is your handy-dandy guide to the fall premiere dates on ABC. It’s sadly missing its best show, but that’s because we have to wait for Lost until 2009. That still depresses me no matter how many times I think about it.

Eli Stone is a series I’ve heard is pretty good, so I may need to check it out, but other than that, Pushing Daisies appears to be the only ABC show I’ll be tuning into this fall. Except for possible Grey’s Anatomy to watch Kevin McKidd.

Of course, there is the new series Life on Mars, which I’ve heard great things about, so there is at least the chance of a new show making its way onto my DVR’s scheduler.

Here is a little blurb from Stephen McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, and then you’ll find the schedule.

“We are very excited about the return of our core group of shows from last fall. They dominated for us, and it will be great to see viewers reconnect,” said Mr. McPherson. “We are building momentum for our two new shows, ‘Opportunity Knocks’ and ‘Life on Mars,’ and are thrilled by their tremendous potential.”

  1. Eli Stone is worth checking out. And other than Pushing Daisies, the rest of this doesn't look very exciting. Although Deb will be excited about DWTS.

  2. Desperate Housewives, and Private Practice are the only two I'll be watching on ABC this fall. Nothing else has peaked my interest.

  3. Pushing Daisies is a solid show. Check it out.

  4. I tried. It didn't take.
