Comic-Con is massive and overwhelming, but I’m already having a great time. I got a wonderful demo of DC Universe Online from the creative director at Sony and I met a comic book writer who is doing a new Voltron series.
I also purchased my Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica t-shirt, but they were out of large sizes, so maybe the XL I had to settle for will shrink in the wash.
Met a few guys in line who graciously asked about our blog here, took a few business cards and hopefully they’ll become regular readers.
I’m glad I have an end seat in Hall H, because there is barely room to breath in here. I’m waiting for The Watchmen panel to begin, I got here an hour early and am sitting way int he back. There are around 6,500 people in this room right now.
Below are some of the pictures from the main exhibit floor and booths. I’d upload a few more, but with the thousands of people here using the wireless, it’s like a 14.4 baud modem right now.

James Bond and the Quantum of Solace
DC Universe Online
The U.S.S. Enterprise on two giant screens over at the Paramount booth.
Fox with the Simpsons on the screens
Thought this was a cool display for the Sci Fi channel.
Heroes: Villains!
The Hulk!
Boba Fett and Han Solo in carbonite…a pretty cool little molding.
The Dharma Initiative!
Looks like Stephen King is getting another book morphed into a graphic novel
The bad guy in Iron Man!

Looks like they have some pretty sweet displays. Can't wait to hear about everything else.
Looks like fun! Wish I was there. Glad you are having a good time.
HOLY CRAPOLA, CHECK OUT THAT DC pic and IRONMAN setup!!!!
How come we don't see you in any of these photos? Are you really there or is someone emailing you these pics?
Mostly because I was trying to be there as media, not a fan
I have some cool shots of this Zombie Bikers display…that was disgusting
Busted! MO's really here in Austin. We're on 6th street right now!
see you needs to get a PS 3 to play the DC game. Haven't seen you on G4TV mugging for the camera.
If I could attach a photo to this post I'd show proof of me standing
in a line of a thousand people in front of Petco Park. It's
730am…first panel is Heroes 1030 in Hall H. The line is insane.
or a PC, you can play the game on both platforms…
Year over year thats the one complaint of SDCC…the crowds, and funny enough how some of them smell. Its actually so bad, Mo you should be able to snag a Sand Diego Comic Con rule sheet and one of the top rules is dont smell bad… they actually have to tell people to be conscious of their BO….
well a blue ray on your computer will run you the cost of a PS3, and you can
always upgrade the HD
Well granted the PS3 fits the bill fo what we have been telling Mike to get for the Blu-Ray aspect, I totally agree, I was only saying the DC game is available on both PS3 and PC platforms… he should totally get a PS3 for the Blu-ray aspect!
I've smelled some bad people for sure…there are some strange folk
here for sure.
I'd definitely rather play this on PS3
Not with the control capability of a keyboard you wouldnt (just speaking form an avid gamer point of view the differences between game pads and the mouse keyboard connection)…
Sad state when people cant figure to maybe shower before going to the demos…. helloooooooo out there
Yeah but its just like watching TV on my computer…I dont want to sit
in front of it to do EVERYTHING…
The tree prevents me from direct replying, but I dont get that…. game is a game anywhere except where can you best play it? No biggie.. lemme know when you get that PS3 to play it though!
So that's where you were! Ah ha!
Are y'all kidding? It's a COMIC BOOK CONVENTION!!! These guys don't leave the house! They just sit in their basements reading Spider-Man. Of course they're not going to be aware of their stanky selves.
