Courtney Cox Joining Cast Of “Scrubs”

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Courtney Cox will be joining the cast of Scrubs for a three-episode arc as Sacred Heart’s new Chief of Medicine.

Scrubs producers had been looking to stunt cast the role of Dr. Kelso’s successor and I’d say that they made a pretty good choice. According to insiders Cox’s character will “ruffle feathers” at the hospital.

Scrubs won’t be coming back to TV until midseason when it will premiere for the first time on ABC.

  1. I miss Courtney Cox and can totally see here there. Sweet!

  2. WOW!

  3. I'll be she makes fun of Perry for having the last name “Cox”.

Oh, and JD will sleep with her before he knows who she is and she'll be the dominant one.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope Scrubs really does have some creative juice left in it, but this last truncated season certainly didn't look like it.

  4. Gonna be interesting… I'm going to guess she will play the neat freak doctor…

  5. I like the casting call. It will be interesting to see how far she can and will depart from Monica.

  6. Did you see DIRT Jina? That was definitely a departure. Too bad it was canceled mid season 2 (strike). Was a pretty good show.

  7. Nice avatar :)

  8. Thanks Mike!
