First Look At Crucifixion and Bruce Willis in “The Surrogates”

I’ve mentioned the upcoming Bruce Willis movie called The Surrogates a couple of times because I think it sounds like it has really good potential. It’s based on a graphic novel series (what movie isn’t these days), but it’s right in line with the sort of thing we’d expect from Willis.

The Surrogates basically tells of a future where humans live in isolation, and, rather than go outside themselves, they interact through surrogate robots who are better versions of themselves. Willis plays a cop who is forced to do the unthinkable and step outside for the first time in years in order to investigate a rash of surrogate murders.

Thanks to io9 and The Milford Daily News we’ve got a couple of first look pics from the set. The above photo shows Willis (as a surrogate I’m guessing) along with actress Anya Monzikova who plays a woman surrogate.

The photo below shows some sort of crucifixion type murder of one of the surrogates (I’m guessing). Not real sure what it’s about but it looks pretty cool (in a strictly move way of course).

The Surrogates stars Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, and Ned Vaughn and is scheduled to hit theaters on November 20, 2009.
