Warner Bros. isn’t getting much love for the relaunching of this old New Line franchise so that has to be worrying them a bit. Then again, they’re probably not spending much on it and here I am talking about it so they may not be too worried. Fans of this kind of movie probably aren’t the ones hanging out online chatting it up.
Friday the 13th is directed by Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Pathfinder). The screenplay was written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason).
Friday the 13th is currently set to slash its way into theaters on Friday, February 13th, 2009.
