First it was The Power of Love for Back to the Future and now Huey Lewis has created a theme song for the new Judd Apatow comedy, Pineapple Express.
It stars Seth Rogan and James Franco, and it’s all about smoking pot and being chased by bad guys. At least, that’s what the trailer looks like.
The song by Lewis is called simply Pineapple Express, and you can go listen to it over on the official sountrack site for the movie on MySpace.
Who knew that Huey Lewis would make a comeback… now I'm really wishing that we had gotten his picture (reading the paper) when we were on vacation.
and here I was looking for more reasons to pass on this movie… cant believe I wasted a wish on that… I only got 2 left!!!

Well actually, based on what the movie is about I can just hear Huey singing I need a New drug, and that song was good the first 400 billion times…
