There’s little doubt at this point that Shia Labeouf is not just becoming a star in Hollywood, he’s pretty much already there. This guy is everywhere and he’s snapping up some pretty decent roles. I wasn’t sold on the idea for Eagle Eye until I saw the really impressive trailer. I now think he made yet another smart choice.
What wasn’t so smart was this poster. Compared to the exciting and intriguing trailer for the film, this poster is rather bland and boring. It just doesn’t do much of anything for me at all. And Michelle Monaghan is a fairly good looking girl, but this poster makes her look much older - she actually looks like Marcia Gay Harden to me. I think they could have done better.

The poster tells us nothing about the movie, but the trailer at least looks promising. Although this looks like DVD material.
