I think those of us who have been following news about the upcoming J.J. Abrams Star Trek film have long known that Zachary Quinto, the man picked to play a younger version of Spock bears a striking resemblance to Leonard Nimoy who originated the character. Well, now we have a side by side comparison thanks to Vic over at ScreenRant.com.
I’m not going to rip off ScreenRant and post his image here, of course, but I did borrow a taste of it at the top of this article. It’s a fabulous side by side that shows just how much Zachary Quinto really looks like a younger Spock. I think he’s going to be fabulous in the role.

He certainly looks the part. I hope he lives up to role.
Well, not sure about filling his shoes, but he definitely is going to fill his ear's and bushy eyebrows.

eh…. I still am stuck on everything they can could do Trek wise, they are reimagining the series… ugh….
I think he'll be good, I can hear it in his voice. But that picture almost looks like Quinto's Spock is smirking, almost like he couldn't take that Sylar facial expression off.
Looks like good casting to me.
