The Movie Trailer For 24: Exile - The 24 Movie - Is Here

For some reason there’s been a lot of news lately about 24 and the 24 movie that is set to premiere in November. The movie stars Keifer Sutherland, of course, and will be called 24: Exile and we now have an official trailer for it.

The action actually looks really good. Contrary to recent reports it doesn’t look as though the movie will be in real time. I mean, it could be, but the trailer makes it look like it takes place over a longer period of time. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s the case or not.

Like I said, the action is good and it shows Jack doing some of the things Jack does best. It looks completely different than a regular episode probably due to it taking place in Africa. The one thing I thought really stuck was the voice-over guy. Who’d they get to do the voice-over? Some dude off the street? That was bad.

What do you think about this first trailer? Does it get you excited to see the movie or ready for the show to come back?

  1. Hopefully the production value is better than the quality they went with for the narrator of this preview :)

This is just the stepping stone to a full-fledged motion picture for Jack Bauer, which I wholeheartedly support. Judging from the action here, they could put him into a Bourne Identity type franchise as Jack Bauer and that would kick some serious butt.

  2. The trailer looks….well…like Jack doing his Jack thing. which is always good.

The voiceover guy sounds like a Jeff Probst wannbe.

  3. Oh man, don't insult Jeff Probst like that. My man Jeff is the best host in the biz.

  4. Yeah, I agree. Bauer could definitely be spun out into a movie franchise if they'd do it right.

  5. No disrespect to Jeff, he is the man. The voiceover comes off as a poor imitation.

  6. Don't let Jason start talking about his Bauer Movie Franchise Idea…….

  7. Yeah, the voice over guy totally sucked.

  8. I gotta agree with my boy Scotty, perhaps its the level in which some trailers have been shown to be awe in spiring lately, but this one could have been much better, and I think the narrator makes it… I dunno.. sissy like….although Bauer looking a little like Jason Bourne in one part…

  9. it's a rough cut of the trailer. the real voice over hasn't been done yet.

  10. I hope.

  11. LOL!

    Is Regis doing it? :)

  12. It'd be better than the currnet guy!! =)
