ABC Family HD Goes Live on DIRECTV

For those of you DIRECTV subscribers who haven’t noticed the gargantuan advertisement for ABC Family HD that is appearing in your guide, it’s there and the channel is now in high definition.

What kind of programming is available in HD isn’t certain yet. I know our DVR picked up a marathon of Greek today and they were all in high-def.

I’m not sure how many of you even watch that station, but The Middleman is on ABC Family and Richard recaps the show here every week, so I know at least some of you watch it. Whether or not you have DIRECTV is another story.

That fact alone makes me excited that the channel is in HD now. Of course, it would have been nice to have it  last week during the virus scrub scene!

This ends your DIRECTV public service announcement.

  1. More HD is always a good thing…I'm guessing.
