Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla Has A Cool New Quad

I’m starting to get used to saying the word “quad” which is actually kind of nice. If you missed our post on the James Bond quad you might not know that it’s a British movie poster that’s wider and bigger than our American movie posters. Well, Guy Ritchie, as you may know, is British so it makes a lot of sense that his new movie, RocknRolla, would get a brand new quad. And it looks pretty cool.

Didn’t I tell you? The preview for this flick was pretty interesting and I’ve enjoyed some of his past stuff so I’m holding out hope this film will at least be entertaining. Of course, he’s going to have a hard time getting people to talk about it when all they want to talk about is Robert Downey, Jr. and the Sherlock Holmes film their working on. See, I just did the same thing.

RocknRolla stars Gerard Butler, Gemma Arterton, Jeremy Piven, Tom Wilkinson, Thandie Newton, and Ludacris.

RocknRolla is set for US release on October 31, 2008.

  1. So the new posters are called quads. Why a square? Why not a triangle or circle? How about a parallelogram or trapezoid?

  2. So glad you reminded me of the “quad” posters, because before I read this, I though I was going to see Guy Ritchie on a 4-wheeler…

  3. I still prefer the traditional shape. However if anything it would look better slightly more stretched horizontally. I am not a fan of the square shape
