Were you one of those people who waited in line for days just to be one of the first to see The Phantom Menace?
You know those psycho fans…they bring sleeping bags, generators, tents and video games and sit there for days on end just to sit exactly where they want in the theater.
Of course, everyone else gets there three hours before it starts and they all end up with decent seats.
That’s not the point though. It’s all about the experience of it all for these guys. It’s like a right of passage to sit there all that time in anticipation of a huge event.
Well, SNL cast members Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis and others have created a fun summer web series called The Line in which two buddies wait in eager anticipation for the fictional Future Space.
ELEVEN days in advance!
There are seven total episodes and you can watch them all in the little embedded video below.
So far, after watching the first three, I’m impressed. Funny stuff, especially the “five minute rule” in episode two.

If this is anything like the genius of Laser Cats I am going to join the line.
Laser Cats was awesome
It gets progressively with each episode, but V has my favorite moment.
