New Serenity comic hits the web out of nowhere

MySpace Dark Horse Presents published their latest issue this month and inside of it was a tasty treat in the form of a new Serenity short comic book story called The Other Half.

It’s written by Jim Krueger and the art is by Will Conrad, who apparently only had a week to do the illustrations. He’s been the guy behind the art on all the Serenity comics so far.

The story is a quickie and gives us some action, some blood, Reavers, River being psychic and some mysterious plot to catch smugglers.

It was a fun read, but almost too quick to be completely enjoyable.

Check it out over on the Dark Horse Presents MySpace page. They also have a few other free comics.

  1. Very, sweet! I saw this last night and was going to email ya'. Clearly I didn't have to. :)

  2. What did you think of the story?

  3. I thought it was fun. Short and sharp. For coming up with no warning - and I mean nothing on Whedonesque or out of Comic Con - and being done so quickly, I thought it was pretty good. It's a nice little gift before Book's story comes out.

  4. Yeah, definitely looking forward to Book's story.
