All week I’ve done this huge Fall TV Preview and now I’m going to toss it back at you guys. I’ve given you lists of the shows I watch and the pilots I’m looking forward to checking out. Some have labeled me a woman, others have told me I’m not watching the right stuff, and my wife says I did a fine job.
It’s your turn.
I want to know what you are looking forward to this fall. So here is the Friday question:
What is the ONE returning show you are most looking forward to, and what is the ONE new pilot you really want to check out?
Now, I know most of you will ignore the question and list ALL kinds of stuff you want to see, and I don’t mind. It’s very hard to narrow this crap down.
When I answer this question, I’m ignoring stuff coming in 2009, like Lost, BSG, etc.
For me personally, I think Dexter or Heroes right now is what I’m most wanting to see as far as returning shows this fall. Heroes was just so fantastic at Comic-Con, it really looks like it could be back to season one form. And Dexter…well, Dexter rocks.
New shows? Definitely Fringe.
What about you guys?
I really can't wait until the premiere of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. (although I am Jonesing for Dexter I haven't started season 2 yet). I guess Fringe is the new show I will watch, maybe Crusoe or Sons of Liberty.
I am eagerly anticipating the return of Life starring the fantastic actor Damian Lewis. It's been years since I have been so taken with a primetime TV serial drama. The stories are interesting, the characters are engaging, the show is beautifully filmed, and the music is great! I'm really looking forward to receiving my copy of the Life - Season 1 DVD on September 1st and the premiere of season 2 on September 29th. It's a great show!
While this will surely label me as a silly girl, I am totally looking forward to Gossip Girl next week. Maybe it's because I've already seen a ton of ads for it, so I am properly solicited. Another that I always look forward to is the Office… it's a staple.
While you can, the Capn cant ignore BSG, and 24…. are they here yet!?!?!
defintely GG and Ugly Betty. I can't wait for more Jam on The Office too, and I loved that commercial that had with Dwight naming the sports in his version of the Decatholon! New shows…hmm, maybe 90210. Do you know what a smile it brought to my face to add it to my DVR? Adrian and I used to watch it and make out during high school. Maybe we'll have to bring back those nights
Always Sunny will be awesome…I'm pretty stoked for that as well.
