Here’s the New Snow Patrol Single, Take Back the City

If you don’t how big of a fan I am of Snow Patrol, then you obviously don’t keep up with my articles here on Pop Critics. But needless to say, they’re my favorite band, I love them and have been looking forward to their upcoming album, A Hundred Million Suns which is released on October 28th.

Thanks for my buddy Brian at UMusic, we have their new single Take Back the City, which precedes the album itself. It’s not the entire song, but you still get a good taste.

I’ll also be getting an advanced copy of A Hundred Million Suns and should have a review of it for you guys in a few weeks.

    I like the album art! The song sounds more upbeat than some of their other stuff. Should be interesting to hear the whole album.

    Definitely different than the other stuff I've heard from them. I'll be curious to hear the rest of the record.

    I'd like to hear the entire song myself, it kind of just starts out already knee-deep in the tune.

    But I have listened to it like 5 times and after awhile, it starts sounding like their other stuff…at least to me. But I'm a homer.

    Reminds me of Matthew Sweet in the beginning and then some 80's U2. I don't know the snippet doesn't do it for me. Some of their stuff I really really like and some of it is throwaway. I weigh this more to the latter.
