In case you missed the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, we’ve got the opening here for you guys on this wonderful Monday morning.
A surprise guest (or really not a surprise anymore since she has cameos all the time) Tina Fey joined Amy Poehler at a mock press conference as Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton in one of the funniest SNL bits in a very long time.
I make it no secret that I worship the ground Fey walks on, and if you don’t start laughing and clapping at her impression of Palin, then you have no business judging talent. She nails it of course, and the combo of her and Amy was such a wonderful treat.
The rest of the episode was “meh”, as Michael Phelps was just an okay guest host and the other skits were just “alright dawg.” Although I will say I enjoyed Andy Samberg’s impression of Cathy from the comic strip.
