This has just reminded me that I have this to watch tonight and quite frankly I can't waitt :-)

There can't be just two episodes left; there just can't be. Why, oh why, didn't the consortium that produced this show make a second season? Considering they marketed it all over the world, except the U.S., and made a R-2 DVD set which must have sold a few copies (I'm getting ready to buy one myself now that I've learned how to make my DVD player region-free, just for this show), how come they pulled the plug?

    Good recap Richard.

Nice seeing Blues again. She functions quite nicely as Charlie’s subconscious. I actually thought she was a better woman for him than Jasmine.

Thanks for clearing up what 01 was doing in this ep. It was altogether clear.

I'm really looking forward to the last two episodes!

Well, financiers, broadcasters, and as important, producers want to know a series has an audience to justify the time and expense in moving onto a second or more seasons. Charlie Jade was an expensive show, and while it has been well received globally, the numbers for both revenue and audience share are not enough to justify a additional seasons at this time.

As a matter of fact, when SCIFI Channel picked it up, I mailed Chris Roland and asked him, if something changed.
He said that “There is no indication at this time whether we will go to a second season, but if the series does well on SciFi in the US this will certainly support the possibility of a second season.”
I thought it was a good news, but of course SCIFI ruined it all by not advertising it and ultimately by changing the date and time.

Yep. CJ is dead now. No way to justify ever doing a second season, unless an R1 DVD release somehow did gangbusters. And that presumes an R1 DVD set will ever come to pass.

Please tell me they do a good job of wrapping up the current storyline in the final two eps.

I do not think you'll be disappointed.

You might scream about the cliffhanger, but this season's storyline gets wrapped up nicely. :)

I agree on Blues vs. Jasmine. I liked Jasmine at first, but as Charlie has changed, so has the kind of woman he can be with. That Jasmine so quickly accepted the Big Lie about the link was telling; Blues would, Blues does, force the new Charlie to dig deeper. And I, too, really liked the flipping between color palettes as Charlie talked to Blues and realized that he's back in Alpha. This show is cinematagraphically (is that a word?) fantastic.
