TV Talk: Tuesday and Wednesday Nights

Missed posting Tuesdays’ TV Talk due to a busy last few days, but here it is along with Wednesday. A lot of good TV going on, especially in the realm of Fringe and Friday Night Lights for me personally.

I actually didn’t watch much else, but that’s okay. Friday Night Lights was so damn good, there could be nothing else on TV all week and it wouldn’t be missed at all.

Smash Williams exited the show after his fourth episode this season, a fact that was announced months ago. How did it end? In teary eyes over in our house for sure. The final story arc for Brian “Smash” Williams was so perfect, so moving and so well acted, I am almost positive that I wont see anything else as good on TV this season. That scene on the football field at Texas A&M and Coach Taylor pulls him aside for one final talking too…man was that awesome.

There are so many other great stories going on in Dillon, like Landry and Tyra, or Matty and his estranged mother. Just solid, solid stuff that has returned the show to the greatness of season one.

Now, what about Fringe on Tuesday? Some very interesting stuff with Olivia and her father. Do you think we’ll be seeing him someday? And what is Joshua Jackson up to in South America?

What did you guys watch the last few days?

  1. I heart FNL! Please watch it … if and when you can. You don't have to start at the beginning two seasons ago, just start watching now.
