In case you guys are interested, here are the 20 semifinalists in the Emmy categories for Best Comedy and Best Drama series. Continue →
Most notably and highly frakking sad in my opinion, is the continued disregard for Battlestar Galactica. I guess not enough people watch the show. I can only assume if it was on FOX, enough people would have seen it and voted it into this group. Continue →
Mike's Top 10 TV shows from the 2007-2008 season
Back in December I gave you a Top 10 list of my Favorite Fall Shows up to the writer’s strike that shut everything down. It also delayed other series that were supposed to show up in January or February, like 24 and Lost, one of which never even aired. Continue →
With the entire 2007-2008 season now under our belts, it’s time to look back and rank my favorite shows because I’m absolutely in love with ranking stuff. Continue →
CBS Renews 4 Shows – Picks Up 6 More For Fall Season
The CBS sitcoms “The New Adventures of Old Christine” starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and “How I Met Your Mother” can each breath a sigh of relief this morning now that CBS has officially renewed them for another season. Both shows were considered to be “on the bubble” despite the fact that I personally think they’re two of the funnier shows on TV not called “The Office” or “30 Rock.” Continue →
NBC comedy recap: Scrubs, 30 Rock and The Office
I’ve come to firmly believe 30 Rock might be the funniest show on TV. I may say that every Friday morning, but lately when I watch it and The Office back-to-back, I find myself laughing a heck of a lot more during 30 Rock. Continue →
I’m just saying. Continue →
Comedy Recaps: The Office, 30 Rock
I have to think that with me always putting Scrubs off to watch on Friday nights, that it must be losing something. Usually we start watching Smallville a little after 7, then The Office comes on, and once that happens, it’s 30 Rock and then Lost, and somehow Scrubs gets bumped. It just happens. I [...] Continue →
Recaps: The Office, 30 Rock
Yet again I ran out of time to watch Scrubs, because I had to get the hour-long Smallville in, and then you really can’t watch three half-hour shows in time for Lost at 9pm…and when it’s on that late, I don’t mind watching it live. Continue →
But I did of course get to watch a stellar Office and 30 Rock, the latter of which made me laugh a heck of a lot more. Continue →
Happy Lost, The Office Day!
As I’m fond of doing for some weird reason, I like to wish everyone a Happy Lost Day now and then, especially when the show hasn’t been on for awhile. It’s back tonight! I think it’s just because the show is so flippin’ awesome, it’s almost like a little holiday or festival around these parts. [...] Continue →
30 Rock and Scrubs swap spots
Variety reported this morning that this coming Thursday, 30 Rock will get moved into the coveted 9:30 time slot after The Office. Continue →
That means Scrubs will move to the earlier 8:30 start time. This really isn’t surprising since 30 Rock is coming back next season for NBC, but this is Scrubs last run on the network. Continue →
The Office recap: "The Chairmodel"
I usually like to do an overall NBC comedy night recap, but when your DVR decides to let one of your dual tuners die, and thus only record Smallville, skipping 30 Rock, then you are in for some trouble. Couple that with a pregnant wife who’s bed times are getting closer and closer to dinnertime, [...] Continue →
NBC Comedy Roundup: The Office, 30 Rock and Scrubs
Alright, it was flat-out awesome to have NBC’s comedy powerhouses back in action last night. You know, it’s kind of funny to think about how Thursday night’s used to be Must See TV with Friends, Seinfeld, Will and Grace, etc., on NBC, and then those shows went off the air and we all yawned. Well, [...] Continue →
