30 Rock
TV Talk: Thursday Night
“Where’s my golden shower?“ – Michael Scott, The Office.
Yikes.
Another classic episode of The Office last night, with a really sweet ending for Pam and Jim, and perhaps a sweeter one for Michael and Holly.
Only two weeks until 30 Rock returns!
I didn’t get to watch much else last night, but I did catch Saturday Night Live. [...]
‘30 Rock’ Big Winner at Emmy Awards
I’m not a fan of the award shows for the most part. I watch the Oscars but tend to disagree with the winners more often than not. I find most of the other award shows to be even more political and snobbish than the Oscars. The shows that usually win are seldom [...]
NBC and iTunes Kiss and Make Up
Once upon a time, two media giants, NBC and iTunes, got upset at each other and parted ways. NBC took their content off iTunes and the fans were the ones that suffered.
Now it appears that scuffle has ended. The two parties have reconnected, made up and are now ready to move forward.
Steve Jobs told reporters the news at the big Apple “Let’s Rock!” event in San Francisco. The Office, 30 Rock, Monk, Battlestar Galactica…all of them will be back on iTunes. And now in high-definition if you so desire.
NBC Premieres Five Shows on Hulu a Week Early
No matter how much I’ll always be angry at NBC for cancelling Journeyman, they do seem to know what they are doing when it comes to online content.
Instead of shirking away from streaming their shows for free online, they are now taking an even bigger step forwards. Five NBC shows that premiere in the next two months can be seen a week early right there on Hulu.
30 Rock Going Nutso With Guest Appearances
Whoever is in charge of guest appearances on 30 Rock might want to take a week off or something.
Jason told us a few days ago about the big Jennifer Aniston news that she’ll be playing a Liz Lemon stalker in an upcoming episode, but that was apparently just the tip of the iceberg.
Rumors are now flying that Oprah Winfrey is in final negotiations for her own guest appearance on the third-year comedy series starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.
Jennifer Aniston To Guest Star on 30 Rock
According to the Associated Press, Jennifer Aniston will make a return visit to NBC, the TV network where she became a star on the hit sitcom Friends.
Mike’s Fall Preview – Thursdays
The preview I’ve been dreading all week. Thursday night. Depending on what you like, you could potentially require up to three DVRs to record everything.
Now, does anyone really do that? Actually yes, I believe there are people out there with three, four, even five DVRs with millions of hours of stuff taped that will last them an eternity.
And perhaps they are on to something. Especially when it comes to Thursdays. Let’s get started and not waste a precious second.
Steve Carell and Tina Fey Sign Up For Date Night
Variety has reported that Steve Carell and Tina Fey are set to play a married couple in Date Night, a 20th Century Fox comedy to be directed by Shawn Levy.
Photos from the One Tree Hill season 6 premiere!
I’m a huge fan of good, quality television. Shows like Lost, Battlestar Galactica and 30 Rock are examples of just how great TV can be when smart people put their heads together.
And then you have those guilty pleasure shows that just appeal to the inner-you, for whatever reason. I’ve had a ton of those in recent years, such as Felicity, Gilmore Girls, The O.C. and now One Tree Hill.
We have the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations!
The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations are in and we’ve got the entire list for you below.
Once again, I’ll exclaim my disappointment that Battlestar Galactica never makes it to Drama Series, but whatever. It’s nice to see Damages, Lost and Dexter in there. I just recently started watching Dexter and it deserves to be here as much as anyone else.
I made my predictions for Comedy and Drama Series not too long ago and only got two wrong. But are you kidding me that Boston Legal is in AGAIN and somehow The Wire isn’t? Is there no justice?
