With her very obvious pregnancy and upcoming maternity leave, Amy Poehler has announced that she wont be returning to Saturday Night Live after the newborn baby arrives.
This is probably something we all should have seen coming, especially with her upcoming Office spinoff series in 2009. ...

In case you missed the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, we’ve got the opening here for you guys on this wonderful Monday morning.
A surprise guest (or really not a surprise anymore since she has cameos all the time) Tina Fey joined Amy Poehler at a mock press conference as Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton in one of the funniest SNL bits in a very long time.
I make it no secret that I worship the ground Fey walks on, and if you don’t start laughing and clapping at her impression of Palin, then you have no business judging talent. She nails it of course, and the combo of her and Amy was such a wonderful treat.

I loved Tina Fey, and suddenly she got her very own comedy on NBC.
I love Amy Poehler, and now she’s going to be the mysterious person starring in The Office spin-off.
I must have some sort of power I just don’t know about. Someone toss me a name and I’ll get that person on TV within the year!

Tina Fey can do no wrong in my eyes, so I was excited to check out Baby Mama on Friday. Her close friend and Saturday Night Live buddy, Amy Poehler, was also in the film and did a pretty admirable job.
In fact, both of the playing off each other was the best part of the movie.

One thing about getting out to the theater a few times on the weekend, you tend to see some new trailers than hadn't crossed you line of sight until that moment.
