M. Night’s “Avatar” Franchise Gets New Name

We recently brought you news that M. Night Shyamalan is prepping a trilogy of films based on Nickelodeon’s animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Well, with James Cameron also filming a movie called “Avatar” it was only a matter of time before someone would have to give. Guess who caved?

Anton Yelchin (Alpha Dog, Star Trek, Charlie Bartlett) is in negotiations to star as John Connor’s father Kyle Reese in director McG’s Terminator 4 (which remains untitled and, apparently, thankfully, isn’t being called “The Return of the Terminator” after all).

Those already waiting in line to buy tickets to see James Cameron's 3-D feature "Avatar" might as well pack up the tents and go home...it's going to be an even longer wait. Fox has pushed back the release of the sci-fi extravaganza seven months ...
