CBS
"Flashpoint" premiere is Friday
Don’t forget to set your DVRs for CBS’ new summer series, Flashpoint, which starts Tuesday night. We told you a little about it back in May, but now it’s here and it looks pretty interesting. Continue →
The cast includes Amy Jo Johnson from Felicity fame, and Enrico Colantoni, from Veronica Mars and Just Shoot Me. Continue →
"Jericho" Rangers still hard at work
What impresses me most about the fans trying to save Jericho is that they aren’t just focused on themselves. Yes, they are working extremely hard right now with stuff like billboards, creating commercials and doing whatever they can to bring the post-apocalyptic cult hit back to television. Continue →
3 New Promo Photos From "Eleventh Hour"
We haven’t really talked about “Eleventh Hour” much, but that’s probably because there are so many other sci-fi type shows hitting the airwaves come next Fall. However, the American version is based on a pretty expensive British production that starred Patrick Stewart that was quite successful. Jerry Bruckheimer himself is producing it for CBS and the wonderful Rufus Sewell is starring in it. It’s being compared to “CSI” and “The X-Files.” That should be enough to get anyone’s attention. New CBS summer series "Flashpoint"
On July 11th, CBS will premiere a summer show called Flashpoint, which has me somewhat excited for two little reasons: Continue →
Amy Jo Johnson and Enrico Colantoni. Continue →
You may not exactly know those names too well, so I’ll ‘splain. Johnson played Julie on the original J.J. Abrams series Felicity back in the day, although she only lasted a few seasons. I always loved her character on the show and was bummed when she left for awhile. Continue →
CBS announces 2008-2009 Primetime Schedule
Jason already wrote a bit on some of the new shows and renewed shows on CBS this coming fall, but there is an official CBS press release to pass on to you guys. Continue →
The CBS 2008-2009 primetime schedule release has almost too much information, but it could interest those of you trying to discover if your show has been moved to a new time slot, or perhaps you want to give a new pilot a shot. Continue →
CBS Renews 4 Shows – Picks Up 6 More For Fall Season
The CBS sitcoms “The New Adventures of Old Christine” starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and “How I Met Your Mother” can each breath a sigh of relief this morning now that CBS has officially renewed them for another season. Both shows were considered to be “on the bubble” despite the fact that I personally think they’re two of the funnier shows on TV not called “The Office” or “30 Rock.” Continue →
Network pickups, renewals and cancellations
This past weekend was wrought with network decisions over potential new series, the renewals of current series and the cancellation of others. Continue →
Not all of them are worth noting, because there are a ton, but Variety has a good overview of most of them. Continue →
I’m going to outline some of the highlights for me. I’ve scoured the web to find news on anything I can find, and will post updates as the networks start making official announcements. Continue →
First Sara, Now Warrick Leaving CSI
Gary Dourdan, who plays Warrick Brown on CSI, is following the foosteps of Jorja Fox (Sara) and is leaving the hit CBS forensics series. Ausiello had the report, but CBS isn’t confirming or denying these rumors, yet his sources assured him it was true. Dourdan’s contract is up at the end of next month, so [...] Continue →
Survivor 17 To Film In HD
The reality program, Survivor, on CBS has long been known as much for the exotic locales and the beautiful scenery captured for the show as it has for the backstabbing and mental breakdowns that have defined the reality part of the equation. The show has traveled all over the world from Australia to China, from Taiwan to Micronesia, however, it’s still one of the biggest shows to not film in HD. Continue →
The 'Save Jericho' campaign begins
It feels like every other month we’re writing articles on shows that need saving and how all the fans are stepping up to do whatever it takes to keep that show on the air. The last one was Journeyman, and now Mission: Jericho is in full swing. The Jericho Wiki is in full swing with [...] Continue →
