First Look: Pics From Michael Mann's "Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp

By Jason on March 19, 2008

Today we get a first look at pictures for Michael Mann’s next film, “Public Enemies.” The more I hear about this movie the more excited I get. I think this is truly going to be one of the better films of whatever year it comes out. The subject matter is always good for solid storytelling and the cast simply couldn’t get much better. Continue →

Terminator Salvation is now nameless

Terminator Salvation is now nameless

By Mike on March 12, 2008

Even though it appears the backlash on the title for the next James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, will not change anything, the new Terminator crew is apparently hearing fans’ complaints. The initial name, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, has been dumped in favor of…well, nothing. Yet. As of right now, according to ComingSoon.net, the [...] Continue →

Graphic novel review: 'The Dark Knight Returns' (1986)

By Mike on February 29, 2008

My foray into the world of graphic novels continued with The Dark Knight Returns, by Frank Miller circa 1986. The first one I read was Y: The Last Man, Book 1: Unmanned and I wrote a review about it around a week ago. My background on this stuff is highly limited, but there is no [...] Continue →

“Terminator Salavation” Gets Its Lead

By Jason on February 13, 2008

We all know by now that Christian Bale will be starring in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. Up until now we weren’t sure what role he would be playing. We also know that the director, McG, is interested in Josh Brolin as the new Terminator (Josh Brolin – The New Terminator?). Well, we now know [...] Continue →

The already beginning to impress cast of Michael Mann’s “Public Enemies” got even more impressive today with the addition of five fine actors. The film, which is being headlined by Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, added Marion Cotillard, Channing Tatum, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Dorff, and Jason Clarke (no, that’s not me) to the cast. With [...] Continue →

The Dark Knight Teaser Poster Is Here!

By Jason on December 5, 2007

A new teaser poster for the “Batman Begins” sequel “The Dark Knight” (official site) has officially been released. I think it’s actually pretty cool. This version of Batman promises to be much different from the original Batman movie even though it involves a lot of the same characters. If you’ve seen Batman Begins then you [...] Continue →
