<p>I&#8217;ve been a subscriber of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FMP3-Music-Download%2Fb%3Fie%3DUTF8%26node%3D163856011&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325">Amazon&#8217;s MP3 newsletter</a> for several months now. Until recently I avoided freebie tracks fearing I would get a dreadful batch, souring my taste for free music until the next edition of the newsletter arrived to my inbox. Maybe you have this affliction too? It&#8217;s time to conquer your fears and download something sweet.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FVanguard-Records-Sugar-Hill-Digital%2Fdp%2FB001KSS3AU%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Ddmusic%26qid%3D1227643493%26sr%3D8-1&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325">Vanguard Records And Sugar Hill Records: The Amazon New Music Digital Sampler</a> is a collection of 5 tracks assembled in prime order. The first two tracks (<em>Gone</em> by Matt Nathansan &amp; <em>The One I Love</em> by Greg Laswell) fit neatly into the Pop genre without being over-baked. The last three tracks combine sweet voices and interesting lyrics with a little twang to produce a unique folksy sound not to be missed. Even though the genres feel mixed, transition from the first two songs to the last three is smooth and easy.</p>
<p>This set isn&#8217;t a bunch of intros or grouping of medicore promo music, it&#8217;s a sweet snack of delight you can feel good about. It won&#8217;t cost you a penny and it&#8217;s not going to expand your wasteline &#8211; <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FVanguard-Records-Sugar-Hill-Digital%2Fdp%2FB001KSS3AU%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Ddmusic%26qid%3D1227643493%26sr%3D8-1&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325">download the album</a>.</p>
