We’ve been keeping you updated on the progress of the new Lord of the Rings films, The Hobbit and a sequel to be titled later, and now we have some blurbs to pass on from the mouths of Peter Jackson and director Guillermo Del Toro. Continue →

Variety is reporting that del Toro will be jumping into that just as soon as his Hellboy II: The Golden Army hits theaters in July. Guillermo del Toro officially directing "The Hobbit" and sequel: Serkis, McKellen on board
While Guillermo del Toro has officially announced that he’s been chosen to direct The Hobbit and its sequel, I’m officially getting friggin’ excited about the future of the Lord of the Rings franchise.

Wolfgang Peterson Off "Ender's Game" Adaptation
Anyone who’s delved much at all into science fiction books will have already heard of Orson Scott Card and his magnificent book, Ender’s Game. It was one of my early favorites. Oh boy.
According to the article in Variety, The Tolkien Trust claims to have [...] Continue →
Guillermo del Toro to direct ‘The Hobbit’ films
I’ve been following news about The Hobbit films closely ever since it was confirmed that Peter Jackson was going to be attached to the project. To me it wouldn’t be the same without Jackson’s vision helping it along.
This time around though, he’ll be producing the films, not directing, but that’s okay with me considering who [...] Continue →
