HBO: Hard Knocks – Training Camp with the Dallas Cowboys (Episode 3)
We begin Episode three of Hard Knocks 2008 with the coaches evaluating the performance of the players during the San Diego preseason game. The first team was solid and efficient so coaches are giving them a lot of praise. However, the second team and beyond had very little praise as they were far less productive compared to the second and third string of the Chargers. Danny Amendola’s fumble on his first punt return was mentioned. That’s not good for the fan favorite underdog. Continue →

Those of you with Direct TV may have noticed recently that pay-per-view movies suddenly have some with an expiration date. TV Review: 'John Adams' HBO (2008)
As I said on Friday when I gave you guys the heads up on this new mini-series from HBO, I’m a huge American Revolution nut and while I haven’t studied it as much as I ought to have, it’s still the main moment in U.S. history that brings out more pride in me than any [...] Continue →

Entourage set to return for fifth season in September
Wow, being one of my favorite summer shows, the idea of Entourage returning in the fall is pretty awful. Thank you once again Writer’s Strike for throwing the universe out of order and causing my TV watching to get all screwy. Instead of a June premiere for Entourage, we’ll have to wait until September. Bummer. [...] Continue →

Those geniuses are Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, the two members of the “band”, Flight of the Conchords. They call themselves the fourth [...] Continue →
