Upcoming Marvel Teaser Cover
I just thought this drawing was seriously cool and wanted to pass it on to you comic book geeks. It could potentially be spoilerish, but no one really knows what the heck it means or even what comic book it was drawn for.
This comes via IGN and their Revelations series of articles. They also showed some other cool artwork and told us about the next big thing from Marvel called Dark Reign. The cover art below could possibly be the result of how Secret Invasion will finish and Dark Reign could refer to the time afterward?
Pop Critics’ Top 10 Summer Movie Predictions Results
Way back in April Mike and I responded to an EW article that listed their predictions for the biggest movies of the summer with some predictions of our own. Now with Labor Day officially closing out the summer movie season we felt it was time to revisit our predictions and see how we fared.
Tropic Thunder Stays On Top Of Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day weekend is the traditional close of the summer movie season and this Labor Day saw no shortage of new films being dumped into the marketplace for a last ditch effort at making a few summer dollars. Jon Favreau will direct “Iron Man 2″
It’s not really official yet, but Nikki Finke is reporting on her blog that a deal has been reached between Jon Favreau and Marvel Studios to make him the director of Iron Man 2.
Responsible for the massive success of Iron Man this summer, Favreau took his battle to the internet when he didn’t immediately get an offer from Marvel to stay on for the sequel.
Big Willie Rules Weekend & Sets Personal Records Even As “Hancock” Underperforms
Will “Big Willie” Smith made this holiday weekend the fifth Independence Day weekend that he’s ruled the box office cementing his place as the King of the Fourth Of July. However, even as Hancock doubled the gross of the second place film, it still managed to fall below industry expectations.
