"Jericho" Rangers still hard at work
What impresses me most about the fans trying to save Jericho is that they aren’t just focused on themselves. Yes, they are working extremely hard right now with stuff like billboards, creating commercials and doing whatever they can to bring the post-apocalyptic cult hit back to television. Continue →
What to rent: New DVD releases for 6/17/08
Well, here is a fun week in DVD releases if I ever saw one. No new movies that really stand out, but there are some good TV shows to be had and some older films being re-released in Blu-Ray and deluxe editions that make me want to once again go out and purchased a PS3 so I can join the blu crew. Check out the final "Save Jericho" commercial
Just last week we posted the news that the Jericho Rangers (fans of Jericho who want to see the show come back for another season) were pooling resources together in an effort to make a commercial to play in the L.A. area for the month of June, in hopes that some TV executive would take notice and do something about it. Continue →
Well, that commercial is totally complete now and it launched officially last Friday. They got the voice-over work done by Brad Beyer, who plays Stanley Richmond on the show, which was totally great of him to help out. Continue →
"Jericho" fans to air TV commercial
The Jericho fans, or “the rangers” as they call themselves, are starting to get serious. It’s not like they weren’t before, what with putting up a full-sized billboard ad in Los Angeles, but now they may even make more of an impact. Continue →
The alternate ending to the season 2 finale of "Jericho"
Back in March when Jericho was nearing it’s end, we wrote a bit about the fact that the producers of the show filmed two different endings in case the series wasn’t canceled. Continue →
Sadly, we all got to watch the one that gave us a nice conclusion. It wasn’t something we wanted to see, but with the series likely over, they chose to go with that one. Continue →
Jericho fans are still fighting the good fight
Yesterday Jason posted an article about Sprague Grayden signing on with 24, and some backlash was received by his notation that essentially Jericho was finished. Well, I would have agreed with him as well, but apparently we were so very wrong. At least, the fans of Jericho out there haven’t even gotten close to giving [...] Continue →
"Jericho" Alum Sprague Grayden Joins Fox's "24"
Now that Jericho is definitely gone for good, the stars have been looking for work. Sprague Grayden who played Heather Lisinski on that show will now be joining the cast of 24 on Fox. Continue →
The 'Save Jericho' campaign begins
It feels like every other month we’re writing articles on shows that need saving and how all the fans are stepping up to do whatever it takes to keep that show on the air. The last one was Journeyman, and now Mission: Jericho is in full swing. The Jericho Wiki is in full swing with [...] Continue →
Jericho season finale starts a war
The possible series finale of Jericho aired last night and while it gave us an ending of sorts, it also opened the door to an entire future where we witness a second American civil war. I wrote yesterday that I hoped the writers, who penned a finale that would give fans some closure, would still [...] Continue →
Jericho to be saved once more, this time by cable?
According to Sci Fi Wire, there are ongoing talks to find a new home for CBS’ Jericho, most likely a cable network. Continue →
Sci Fi anyone? I can’t imagine a more perfect place for it. I seriously hope these talks amount to something. Continue →
