So You Think You Can Dance 2008: Top 10 RESULTS SHOW Recap
Last night’s episode had a lot of filler including not one, not two, but three performances by our wonderful dancers. The opening number was a Bollywood routine set to JBJ from the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom Soundtrack. It was a great routine with lots of energy and everyone looked fantastic. Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008: Top 10 PERFORMANCE SHOW Recap
From here on out the contest is going to be a tad different. Each contestant will have two choreographed dances with a partner along with a solo. At the end of the show, the television audience votes and the guy and girl with the lowest numbers gets the boot. The judges no longer have a say as to who is America’s Favorite Dancer. It’s up to us, America! Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008 recap: The Top 16 results
Was anyone surprised by last night’s results show? Not me. I really feel that the right people were sent home so I don’t have many complaints. I do have an issue with host Cat Deeley though. This may all stem from my alter ego as a fashion blogger so just indulge me. Someone fire her stylist ASAP! Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008 recap: The Top 16
Week 3 of the competition and I already have my favorite couples picked, do you? Although as a bedazzled- glamour-shots Mary Murphy commented, this season does seem a bit more equal on the playing field than last season. Most dancers are performing very well and giving a high level of effort each week but that doesn’t mean a few of them haven’t grabbed a seat on my own personal “hot tamale train” already. Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008 recap: The Top 18 results
Results time people, are you ready? I was keeping my fingers crossed this whole time for you-know-who to get cut and I was not disappointed by any means but more on that later. Continue →
Shane Sparks!! Where have you been? Oh, how I miss him and his assured smile. They didn’t even flash to him in the audience, which makes me think he must be really busy with MTV’s Dance Crew and we won’t be seeing much of him this season. Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008 recap: The Top 18
Well dear SYTYCD watchers, we’ve arrived at week two of competition! For me, it’s making the long hot summer much more enjoyable and taking some of the bore out of my pregnancy bed rest. If only I could get off the couch and try to copy some of the dance moves like I usually do. I bet you’d all pay to see that, huh?! Anyway, let’s recap the couples from last night’s performances. Continue →
"So You Think You Can Dance" 2008 recap: The Top 20 Results
Let’s start with some housekeeping before we get to the actual results of which guy and girl left the show. First of all, the opening dance was crazy cool. Wade Robson never has disappointed me as a choreographer. Although, I was a little bummed he did not do his normal new age peace bow when they flashed the camera on him. Darn! But it was fun to see all the contestants together and of course Nigel being kidnapped by them. Continue →
"So You Think You Can Dance" 2008 recap: The Top 20 (6/11/08)
Wow! I am so impressed with this season’s Top 20. I was very surprised that out of all the pairings and dance numbers, there was not a single huge train wreck. Needless to say, this made it extremely hard to pick my favorites! Continue →
First, let’s recap the couples and their dances: Continue →
So You Think You Can Dance 2008 recap: Vegas Round
Can you believe we already know our Top 20 dancers? They really keep things moving on So You Think You Can Dance! It was a jam packed episode and if it felt like a whirlwind for us viewers, I can’t imagine what it was like for the competitors. Continue →
"So You Think You Can Dance" 2008 recap: L.A. Auditions
American Idol is over and that means it’s time for the only real dance competition on TV. No, I’m not talking cheeseball Dancing With The Stars, creepy Your Mama Don’t Dance or lame Step It Up and Dance (seriously how many of these shows are there?!) I’m talking So You Think You Can Dance, back for its fourth season! Continue →
