The Italian Job Sequel May Never Happen

The Italian Job Sequel May Never Happen

By Jason on September 11, 2008

Fans have been asking for it. The stars aren’t opposed to it. Heck, the studio itself has had it “in production” for four years now. Yet, Seth Green says that the sequel to The Italian Job may never happen.

Reactions to the stuff we’ve posted on Max Payne so far has been mixed at best. Some of you love it and say it looks exactly like the video game and some of you hate it and say it’s going to be awful. Well, no matter how you feel about it, you should check out this new full trailer for it and tell us what you think.

Two New and Really Cool Posters For Max Payne

Two New and Really Cool Posters For Max Payne

By Jason on July 25, 2008

We’ve already been telling you how we think Max Payne starring Mark Wahlberg actually looks pretty cool for a video-game-turned-movie. I’ve been especially impressed with the artwork that’s been coming out since the release of the almost equally cool teaser trailer. These two new posters continue the trend.

Darren Aronofsky To Direct "Robocop" Remake?

Darren Aronofsky To Direct “Robocop” Remake?

By Jason on July 11, 2008

There isn’t very much about the intended Robocop remake that has had me even a little bit excited…until now. The rumor currently going around that director Darren Aronofsky could possibly, maybe, hopefully, be the one to actually bring Robocop back to the masses has me thinking that I’d actually buy a ticket.

"Max Payne" International Trailer

“Max Payne” International Trailer

By Richard on July 11, 2008

We’re in the hot days now, when thoughts turn to beaches and Batman, suntans and stoner comedies. But I’m guessing after we hit the highpoint of summer – July 18, and you know why it’s the summer’s highpoint – and start that sticky and sweaty slide down to Labor Day, we’ll start thinking more about autumn’s darker fare.

Adam's review of M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening"

Adam’s review of M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Happening”

By Adam on June 14, 2008

(My reviews tend to contain mild spoilers. While I don’t really think I am capable of ruining this, proceed with caution.)

I refuse to believe that M. Night Shyamalan isn’t capable of making another great movie. Unfortunately, his last two films have made that extremely difficult.

Some say that he stopped making good movies when he came out with Signs, but that’s my favsies (I’ll explain why if you’re interested), and The Village actually comes in close second. But Lady in the Water was an abysmal failure (did anyone really get it?), and I’m sorry to say that The Happening is no better.

Third Poster for "The Happening" Is Warped

Third Poster for “The Happening” Is Warped

By Jason on May 23, 2008

So they’ve released yet another movie poster for M. Night Shyamalan’s summer film, The Happening starring Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo, Betty Buckley, Spencer Breslin, and Ashlyn Sanchez.

This poster is the third one so far and probably my least favorite. I’m not exactly sure what they were going for, but it mostly just [...]

Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" Set For Fall 2009 Release

Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones” Set For Fall 2009 Release

By Jason on May 5, 2008

It seems that everything is right on schedule for Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Alice Sebold’s novel, The Lovely Bones. Recent rumors have speculated that production on the film was shut down due to a rift between Jackson and his art director over the way heaven should look in the film. Today, however, we get news that no such rift ever existed and Jackson and his art director seem to be perfectly simpatico on how heaven should appear.
