Just when you think they’re going to go ahead and make the Fast and the Furious 4 without any kind of plot whatsoever, BAM, they release a story synopsis. Not only that, they came up with a killer title for the film. Hold on to your horses boys and girls because this sequel is about to go Fast and Furious!

No, seriously. Read it again. It’s different than the original title. I promise. See, the original was called The Fast and the Furious while this one is just
Fast and Furious. See how different they are? No one could ever get that confused.

If you’re interested the plot goes something like this:

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reteam for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed — “Fast and Furious.” Heading back to the streets where it all began, they rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert in the new high-octane action-thriller.

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him. And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what’s possible behind the wheel.

The Justin Lin directed sequel to the other three movies that also involved cars and people that are both fast and furious will star all of the stars of the original hit including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, John Ortiz, Laz Alonso, Shea Whigham and Tego Calderon.

Fast and Furious is scheduled for a June 5, 2009 theatrical release.
