USA Network Announces Fall Premiere Dates
The USA Network has actually come a long way in the past several years. I’m still disappointed that they canceled The 4400, but at least they still have Psych and they’re making an effort to put up some quality programming. Yesterday they announced the premiere dates of their fall shows.
NBC and iTunes Kiss and Make Up
Once upon a time, two media giants, NBC and iTunes, got upset at each other and parted ways. NBC took their content off iTunes and the fans were the ones that suffered.
Now it appears that scuffle has ended. The two parties have reconnected, made up and are now ready to move forward.
Steve Jobs told reporters the news at the big Apple “Let’s Rock!” event in San Francisco. The Office, 30 Rock, Monk, Battlestar Galactica…all of them will be back on iTunes. And now in high-definition if you so desire.
What to rent: New DVD releases for 7/8/08
This week is a spectacular one for DVD releases. We get a great bunch of Batman releases, plus a few great TV shows, a horror film and much more. Weeks like this make me wish my full-time job was watching movies.
Load up on “The Office” Sunday nights
The experiments on Sunday nights with Monk and Psych haven’t turned out so well for NBC. The ratings has been dismal, placing them fourth in that coveted 18-49 demographic.
Which is really only good news for those of us who don’t watch those shows or catch the new episodes on cable where they originate.
