There are potential spoilers below, so read at your own risk.

According to Ausiello, Pushing Daisies has been picked up for a full season, making for a total of 22 episodes. They had initially ordered 13, but added nine more just recently. Great news for a little series that is one of my favorites from the batch of new shows this fall.

Now if I can hear this sentence, all will be good in the world: Journeyman ALSO picked up for a full season…

Patrick Dempsey, or McDreamy on Grey’s Anatomy, is about to find a new girlfriend in upcoming episodes…

Poppy Montgomery on Without a Trace is going to be joined by some one-night stand she was with before, this time for a few more episodes. Who still watches this show?…

On Smallville, Chloe is about to get the biggest scoop of her life for the Daily Planet…Lana’s alive!

I’ll throw this in here for Gilmore Girl fans, a made up question/answer (made me laugh):

Question: Do you think Rory is sick of being on the campaign trail with Obama yet? Channing

Ausiello: A better question is whether Obama is sick of being on the campaign trail with Rory. As you know, that girl never shuts up!

Rachel Bilson is coming to Chuck, and this is what the story is on her character (no clue when she will be on yet):

“She plays Lou, a sandwich maker who complicates the faux relationship with Chuck and Sarah by possibly being available for a real relationship,” says Schwartz. “But like all characters in Chuck’s life these days… she may not be what she appear.”

Finally, a Friday Night Light’s tidbit…should we be worried about the show sticking around all season?

“Depends. If you like the show in its current Friday time slot, then yes, you should probably be worried. If you’d prefer it air, oh, say, Mondays at 10 pm after Heroes, then you should be thrilled. You see, according to card-carrying Aushole Lauren, the Peacock recently sent out a reader survey and one of the questions was, “Would you be more likely to watch Friday Night Lights if it followed Heroes on Monday?”

Now that would be great!

So let’s get down to it. It’s been three weeks or so since the Fall TV season started and we’ve all tried out new shows, some we’ve loved, some are okay and some we’ve never, EVER watched again (I’m talking to YOU, Bionic Woman and Big Shots).

You’ve all had a chance to see enough to get a feel for them…so the question this week is:

(Ah ha, read more to find out!)

What’s your favorite NEW Fall 2007 tv series?

Mine without a doubt is…hmm…let me think. It’s actually hard, because I like a few of them a lot. Pushing Daisies, Chuck…and Life. Although Life is now sitting there on our DVR with TWO episodes we haven’t watched, so I’m wondering how much I really like it.

But my answer has to be Journeyman.

I don’t know why, I didn’t think I’d enjoy a show that I prejudged to be a Quantum Leap clone, but I really, really do. It’s entertaining, well written, the acting is good and the stories have been keeping me glued to my seat.

Of course that means it will be canceled soon. I have a major history of falling in love with shows that never make it. Firefly, Sports Night…to name two.

What do I think so far? I think the more I watch it, the more I love it. Yet I kind of worry about how they can keep it going for a few seasons.

Will the novelty of the narrator and bringing people to life/back to dead again wear off?

I don’t know, but in the meantime I’m really enjoying it. It’s like some kind of fantasy show, that has a good heart, yet deals with death. Last night’s show was filled with humor, like when his partner-in-crime Emerson went running from the funeral home, or when Ned fought the guy up and down the stairs, fell off and was wrapped in the red drapes.

There are a lot of subtle plot elements, like the spice baked into the pie crust that Chuck sends to her aunts.

It’s just an enjoyable show, happy in spite of the main topic of death on every episode and funny. The moments between Ned and Chuck, with the celophane wrap kiss are just touching.

So what do you guys think so far? Anyone still watching? Is it one of your new favorites?

It’s time for all you haters out there to watch 30 Rock, which premieres tonight on NBC at 7pm. Not only is Alec Baldwin absolutely hilarious and Tina Fey delightfully funny, Jerry Seinfeld will be on for the first episode. If you haven’t seen it before, give it a chance now. It won an Emmy for Best Comedy (even though the Emmy’s suck), and thus you should watch it.

So we gave Pushing Daisies a look-see last night and were really surprised. Listed on my DVR guide as “paranormal”, I’d categorize it more as a “fantasy”. The look and feel of the show is just so different than anything out there. A ton of work must go into just getting the sometimes off-color scenes just right. You have some dark scenes, but the colors are crisp and shady. Then you have these big colorful, bright sets that feel like they are out of those DLP “it’s the mirrors” commercials.

I liked the premise. This is how it works: If something dies, Ned can touch it to bring it back to life. Works on fruit, dogs and people. However, if that thing stays alive longer than a minute, something else in the near vicinity will die. The kicker is, he can touch you again and you die. And it ends there…you can no longer be brought to life.

That’s how his mom dies, by dying, being brought back, and then kissing her son on the forehead at bedtime, and then dying once more.

Now it sounds kind of dark, but the show is light-hearted and comedic. The love story between Ned and Chuck (a girl) will be a unique one in that they love each other, but can never touch.

Did you watch it? What did you think?

Also, stopped watching Dirty Sexy Money…it was just okay and I really do watch too much TV. I think the serialized show is starting to be done to death, as Jina pointed out the other night. When Dirty Sexy Money did their “last week on…” part, and then the lead goes “…and I think one of them killed my father…” I kind of suddenly got sick of the copycat serials out there. Thus ends that show.
