I do know that most of our visitors don't or should I say wont watch the same thing that I am into on TV. But this show has began to grow big here in the U.S. for those of you who know about it. Swamp People is not for the weak at heart but can be funny for the whole family. So if you don't like gator's do not enter pass this point.

Yes this show is not for the weak at heart and especially if you do not like alligators. In my terms I will make this as simple as possible for those of you who wish to learn about it. The show is great and for me being a type of person that does not watch to much of the History Channel I have brought myself to watch this one show. Air’s every Thursday with new episodes on the History Channel so feel free to check it out.

I know this article here should be put on my web site at Hello Hunting but I thought that I would also share it with you the pop cultural world. As for those of you who do know me you already know that I am the

” pop cultural redneck”

on here and the whole outdoor thing is my life. Yes I do enjoy the outdoors and will continue to enjoy them. As for the show swamp people all I can say is that it’s a bad ass show for everyone that wants to learn how to or even learn how bad ass a alligator can be.

With the group of people that are being filmed while chasing and hunting alligators just makes you want to join in on the action. I think this whole alligator hunting thing is an add on to my to do list in life before I die. I will say that it takes a whole lot of ( Southern Slang – Gonad’s ) to chase after or hunt for a 12 to 16 foot alligator. An animal that can chew off two arms and legs at the same time is not one to play pick-a-boo with unless you are the one that is going to hunt him.

Don’t be the other where you are the one that is the hunted. Being a true coon ass riding in a small boat like these guys in a Louisiana bayou is most likely not a place that most of us will see ourselves. Being that show is filmed in the middle of a swampy bayou it makes you wonder just how hard even the filming could be. Swamp people is now on their second season on the History Channel. I can’t wait to try and find the first season on DVD so I will be able to catch up on all the first season action. Let’s take a look at the Swamp People cinema spot. Hope you enjoy it and check the show out every Thursday night.

*Spoilers ahead*

Many years ago, there was a movie that coined a phrase which most people have probably used once in their life. It came from the movie “Ghost” and it was the answer to Demi Moore saying “I love you.”

“Ditto”

Thanks Patrick Swayze, that line was kind of annoying for a long time, but no worries…Ronald from The Amazing Race has helped put the movie and that quote in the distant past. His daughter Christina keeps trying to break through her dad’s tough exterior by being kind to him, even going as far as saying “I love you” as much as possible.

But she probably didn’t expect the response she got:

“I love you dad.”

“They have great pastries in Lithuania I hear.”

So sweet, such a warm fuzzy. Thanks Ronald, I’ve already used that line on my wife last night. Went over REAL well.

I guess Shana finally realized that using the U-Turn was just asking for Karma to come kick them in the gut and eliminate them from the race, but in reality, it was time for the L.A. Blondes to go. Jennifer was losing it having to deal with Shana and they just appeared to be at the end of their rope.

They wont be missed for anything other than their utter desperation and paranoia.

Next up on the melt-down train is Nathan and Jennifer, who love each other, yell at each other and call each other names all in one leg of the race. The fence post challenge was a hilarious moment, but you had to feel bad when Jennifer miscounted, “87, 88, 89, 100.”

Ooops.

Finally, Phil really teased us at the end with the long pause before he said “Non-Elimination!” but no, I was totally wrong and they just pulled a fast one on us, making us THINK that slow announcement would bring the blondes back for Leg 6.

I guess it got too predictable with Phil and the non-elimination announcement, so kudos for shaking things up, I was sure they were staying.

Looks like no one lost a team in our little contest here, so we all hold over for another week.

(Although I think those with Nathan and Jennifer could be in trouble next week!)
