Wanted is based on Mark Millar’s graphic novel and is directed by Timur Bekmambetov. It stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Terence Stamp, Thomas Kretschmann, Common and Angelina Jolie.

Wanted opens in theaters on June 27, 2008.

This trailer is really only Red Band because of the language (and it’s not too terribly bad). This is definitely one of the funniest trailers for Step Brothers that I’ve seen. I don’t know. I think maybe Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are going to have another hit on their hands with this one. It looks really funny. I think the studio needs to ratchet up the marketing, though, because right now they’re getting drowned out by pretty much every other movie coming out this summer.

In Step Brothers, Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.

Step Brothers opens in theaters on July 25, 2008.

His latest flick is sure to be another Kevin Smith “classic.” Zack and Miri Make a Porno is getting a lot of attention and a lot of buzz, mostly because it’s about, well, people making a porno, and it stars Seth Rogan and Elizabeth Banks.

They’ve just released our first look at the film. It’s a Red Band teaser and it is definitely not safe for work…or for home… Better watch this one with headphones on in the dark and by yourself.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno hits theaters on October 31, 2008.

The Happening opens in the US on Friday, June 13, 2008.

By now you may have seen the Red Band Trailer we put up that shows a little more of the gore factor. I think it actually looks like it could be good although early reviews haven’t been that great.

I really liked the first, American version of the poster for the film, but this international version has something going for it too. It’s maybe not as immediately eye catching, but all the bodies laying around our two heroes certainly brings the scare factor into play. What do you think?

“Pathology” Red Band Trailer

In its simplest terms the movie is about a group of medical students who devise a deadly game to see which one of them can commit the perfect murder. It appears as though Milo Ventimiglia’s character isn’t too keen on the whole idea. Although it does look like he enjoys getting naked with the ladies. In all fairness, however, I can’t really tell if that’s him with all the girls.

Pathology is directed by Marc Schoelermann and also stars Alyssa Milano.
It’s set to hit theaters on April 17, 2008.

Initially I wasn’t too crazy about the idea for the film, but after seeing the first trailer I actually starting thinking the film might be pretty funny. If you skipped that trailer or don’t like watching Red Band trailers you might want to check this one out and see what you think.

Pineapple Express is about lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) who has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city’s most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both.

Pineapple Express will be hitting theaters on August 8, 2008.
