Back-To-Back?</a>).  The rumor at the time was that both might be shot back to back but that the studio might take off 2008 and not release &#8220;Saw V&#8221; until 2009.</p>
<p>It appears as though the release rumor is false.  Lionsgate is now laying claim to <strong>October 24th, 2008</strong>, for the release of &#8220;Saw V&#8221; and is looking hard at <strong>October 30th, 2009</strong>, for the release of &#8220;Saw VI.&#8221;  It&#8217;s still uncertain whether or not the films are being shot at the same time or back to back.  In order to do so, it would seem that both scripts would have had to be finished before the strike went into effect.<br />
