			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This video was apparently released on <a href="http://www.liveleak.com">LiveLeak.com</a>, and I found it thanks to <a href="http://adamczar.net/blog/2008/01/20/cloverfield-1-18-08/">Adam&#8217;s blog</a> who has been following these <em>Cloverfield</em> <a href="http://www.popcritics.com/2008/01/cloverfield-mystery-grows-sequel-possible/">post-release clues</a>.</p>
<p>Again, don&#8217;t watch this stuff or read more if you don&#8217;t want anything given away. Spoilers and speculation ahead.</p>
<p>The basic idea from what I am gathering is this:</p>
<p>There was a <em>Cloverfield</em> viral site called <a href="http://www.slusho.com">Slusho.com</a>, which is owned by parent company <strong>Tagaruto</strong>, which owns the oil tanker in the video. Oh yeah, and Rob from the movie was headed to Japan to work in this company.</p>
<p>According to those that have solved some of the puzzles of the Slusho site, the drink &#8220;Slusho&#8221; is made from a deep sea ingredient, which is what that oil rig could have actually been drilling for.</p>
