The official, higher quality ‘Star Trek’ trailer
As some of our more astute readers pointed out, High Definition is much better than YouTube. Thank you for pointing that out, I’ve been in the dark on that subject.
Bootleg ‘Star Trek’ trailer appears on YouTube
For those of us Star Trek fans who have been waiting with baited breath for anything related to the upcoming movie being released based on the long-running franchise, we finally get an official trailer.
4 New Star Trek Character Posters In Hi-Res
There’s not really anything new about doing individual character posters for a movie. Films have been doing it for a while now and we saw a bunch of them this summer. What J.J. Abrams has done with Star Trek, however, is something new. The first set of four character posters for Star Trek was released during Comic Con. We now have a second set that was released at VegasCon ‘08.
The Firefly Ship Works project
I’ve been meaning to tell you guys about this cool little project for awhile now, but it got put on the back-burner until last night.

TrekMovie.com scanned them all and published all four on their website. They feature James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Uhura (Zoe Saldana) and bad guy Nero (Eric Bana).

However, Screen Rant is reporting that Paramount had a panel at Creation Entertainment’s 16th Annual GRAND SLAM: THE SCI-FI SUMMIT in Burbank, California, this past weekend in which screenwriter Roberto Orci and Leonard Nimoy was in attendance and the two dished out a few details we haven’t heard before.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything new concerning the Star Trek film. The truth is, there hasn’t been a lot of new news to report. AICN, however, published some set photos early this morning that were taken at Cal State Northridge.
