The CW adds ‘The Vampire Diaries’ to its supernatural lineup
Along with its solid offering of Supernatural, The CW is beefing up its Thursday nights with another supernaturally-charged series: The Vampire Diaries.
Smallville Splits Season Into Two Parts
Yes, despite the mediocrity of the last few seasons, there are still Smallville fans out there and I’m definitely one of them. It’s one of those shows that you keep watching mostly because of all the time you’ve invested. And that idea of an ending which will make it worth the journey.
That ending seems like [...]
90210 Recap: “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore”
Beverly Hills 90210, the show known for making a zip code famous, is back! In one of the most anticipated premieres of all summer, we were introduced to the new students that would walk the halls of the infamous West Beverly High. Move over Brenda and Kelly, there are new kids on the block!
“Well Annie, we are not in Kansas anymore.”
Of course our star family had to have moved from a good ole Midwestern town, only this time it wasn’t Minnesota. Harry Wilson, the new principal of West Beverly, and his wife Debbie, a hot shot photographer, moved back to Beverly Hills to care for Harry’s mother. Their two children Annie and Dixon, the sister and adopted brother duo, are transplanted from Kansas and are sure to find drama in the newly upgraded 90210.
Preview clips from the upcoming season of Gossip Girl
The second, sex-tastic season of Gossip Girl is coming up in just a few weeks and we have four preview clips to show you fans out there.
They all last around a minute each, but should give you a great idea of where things are and what you can expect. The videos feature Blake Lively (Serena), Leighton Meester (Blair), Ed Westwick (Chuck) and Chace Crawford (Nate).
“Reaper” finale is tonight
I haven’t written much about Reaper lately, mostly because I stopped watching the show awhile back, which really was soley because of a DVR conflict that forced it to record in the bedroom.
And I really don’t like sitting in there watching TV.
But a few restless nights kept me awake so I started watching them again. Didn’t take me long to realize how much I’ve missed out on.
Network pickups, renewals and cancellations
This past weekend was wrought with network decisions over potential new series, the renewals of current series and the cancellation of others.
Not all of them are worth noting, because there are a ton, but Variety has a good overview of most of them.
I’m going to outline some of the highlights for me. I’ve scoured the web to find news on anything I can find, and will post updates as the networks start making official announcements.
Lex Luthor goes to the dark side on April 17th
We’ve already posted some spoilers for the April 17th episode of Smallville, entitled Descent, which appears to be the direction we find Lex Luthor headed. If you don’t want to know more about that episode, I’d skip this blog post.
Funny thing for me, I really hate finding out spoilers for Lost and Battlestar Galactica, but [...]
The ‘Save Jericho’ campaign begins
It feels like every other month we’re writing articles on shows that need saving and how all the fans are stepping up to do whatever it takes to keep that show on the air. The last one was Journeyman, and now Mission: Jericho is in full swing.
The Jericho Wiki is in full swing with Save [...]
Smallville returns to form, if only for one episode
Good episodes of the CW’s long-running Superman series, Smallville, seem few and far between these days. Things have gotten convoluted and progression along the Superman mythology path seems to be moving at a snail’s pace.
Smallville April 17th episode spoilers!
The April 17th episode of Smallville is going to be a big one, and if you don’t want to know anything else about it, then don’t read any further!
From the Ausiello report comes hints about a big death that is supposed to happen and from the sounds of it, this isn’t going to be one of those “died, but comes back in an episode, or died and really isn’t dead, or died and we’ll see them next year…”
