The Office
TV Talk: Thursday Night
“Where’s my golden shower?“ – Michael Scott, The Office.
Yikes.
Another classic episode of The Office last night, with a really sweet ending for Pam and Jim, and perhaps a sweeter one for Michael and Holly.
Only two weeks until 30 Rock returns!
I didn’t get to watch much else last night, but I did catch Saturday Night Live. [...]
TV Talk: Thursday Night
Well that was the most I’ve laughed on a Thursday night so far this season.
The Office delivered much better in a normal, 30-minute format and it was a welcomed sight. The scenes with Jim timing Dwight with the stopwatch were among some of the best prank-pulling stunts ever. Jim talking to Andy about Battlestar Galactica [...]
Hilarious New British Series: No Heroics
Thanks to a tip from Richard, I found this video preview of an upcoming new series debuting in the United Kingdom called No Heroics and my only beef with the show so far is that it’s not airing over here!
The show is set in a world with lots of superheroes, most of which compare themselves [...]
Just Who is the New Receptionist on The Office?
This post about The Office may contain spoilers that you may not want to know anything about, so skip the article entirely starting now.
If you want to know all the juicy gossip about the upcoming season, then keep on reading.
NBC and iTunes Kiss and Make Up
Once upon a time, two media giants, NBC and iTunes, got upset at each other and parted ways. NBC took their content off iTunes and the fans were the ones that suffered.
Now it appears that scuffle has ended. The two parties have reconnected, made up and are now ready to move forward.
Steve Jobs told reporters the news at the big Apple “Let’s Rock!” event in San Francisco. The Office, 30 Rock, Monk, Battlestar Galactica…all of them will be back on iTunes. And now in high-definition if you so desire.
What To Rent: New DVD releases for 9/2/08
I almost missed doing my weekly DVD picks because of the beautiful holiday we just had throwing me off a day. But here they are and it’s actually a great week for television, which appears to be the norm as of late. Am I the only one noticing the trend lately of better stuff coming out for television than movies?
More than likely it’s just the time of the year, as last season’s stuff arrives just in time for you to frantically catch up with your favorite shows.
Mike’s Fall Preview – Thursdays
The preview I’ve been dreading all week. Thursday night. Depending on what you like, you could potentially require up to three DVRs to record everything.
Now, does anyone really do that? Actually yes, I believe there are people out there with three, four, even five DVRs with millions of hours of stuff taped that will last them an eternity.
And perhaps they are on to something. Especially when it comes to Thursdays. Let’s get started and not waste a precious second.
Michael Scott on Volleyball
Never fear, if you toss an event at the people from The Office and ask them to make a few commercials, they wont let you down.
First there was Slap Face, the Office Olympic game, and now comes Michael Scott’s views on the sport of Volleyball.
No matter what these guys do, it’s gold Jerry…gold!
Dwight Schrute: “Enough of your magic riddles!”
This video is old, it’s from the season finale last year when Ryan gets arrested, but the Hobbit references from Dwight are hilarious and it’s always a good thing to post something about The Office whenever you can.
I believe it’s a deleted scene that will on the season four DVD that is out on September 2nd.
