Most notably and highly frakking sad in my opinion, is the continued disregard for Battlestar Galactica. I guess not enough people watch the show. I can only assume if it was on FOX, enough people would have seen it and voted it into this group.

Honestly…Grey’s Anatomy over BSG? Really?

On a happier note, I’m LOVING that Flight of the Conchords made the Top 10…that’s just outstanding. Good for them.

Can’t say much bad about the dramas (aside from Grey’s). Dexter from the four episodes I’ve seen so far is awesome, I heard amazing things about The Wire, and it’s cool to see Friday Night Lights get some more love. Not sure I still get the love for Boston Legal, but I don’t watch it, so who am I to judge?

I’m going to slap little asterisks next to my predictions for the five series who make it to the finals. There just MIGHT be a bit of wishful thinking in there, but I don’t care!

So let’s get right to it I guess, it feels like a pretty lousy week for releases actually, since I haven’t seen any of these.

Shoot ‘Em Up

Clive Owen rocks and I never saw this film, but totally wanted to. It looks like complete and utter glorified violence, mixed in with some great comedic elements. Sometimes you want to see a movie just for the pure fun aspect and this would be one of those.

The Tudors: Complete First Season

I don’t get Showtime, so never got to see an episode of this, but I heard it was interesting. According to IMDB.com, it’s about the marriages and reign of King Henry VIII. Amazon’s users rate it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Resident Evil goodies

There are a few things out for this line of films this week, Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Extinction both on Blu-Ray. Also look for a Resident Evil: The HD Trilogy as well.
