War Heroes
Mike’s Comic Pull List for Week of September 16th
Last week was a slim one for me in terms of reading comics. The new series from Stephen King, The Stand, was great fun and highly enjoyable.
But I haven’t read a good book in quite awhile, so while I was at Barnes & Noble last Friday, I saw Dexter Dreaming Darkly and just had to [...]
Millar reveals the cover for War-Heroes #3
War-Heroes is an interesting series so far and I’m looking forward to #2 sometime this month. Mark Millar is the writer and Tony Harris does the art for this soldier-superhero comic book adventure.
I reviewed the first issue last month, and you can read it here to get a good idea of what War-Heroes is all about.
But even as we’re still waiting for #2, Millar and Harris posted the sketch for #3’s cover on their forum and it’s pretty crazy looking.
Comic book review: “War Heroes #1″ (2008)
In the latest series from Mark Millar (Wanted, Kick-Ass, 1985), the United States of the very near future is still fighting the war on terrorism in Iraq, soldiers are dying, the economy sucks and the president’s approval ratings are non-existent.

Calling it the sequel to Ultimates 3 if he’d written it, Millar brings us a new, six-issue comic book series called War Heroes.
Mark Millar’s comic book War Heroes releases today
The more I read about War Heroes, the new self-contained story from comic book writer Mark Millar (Wanted, Kick-Ass, Ultimates 1 and 2), the more excited I get to read the first issue.
War Heroes #1 hits comic book stores today, and it’s likely to be sold out fairly quick. I already have the series added to my box over at Atomic Comics, so I’ll be making a stop over there this afternoon.
